Message I got a used good CAS and put it on my worn spline, inserted a "sleeve" of paper into the CAS socket in an effort to fill some of the slop that may remain. I then set the base timing to 15 degrees on the money. The CAS was adjusted maybe halfway CCW.

I am almost positive I am already using those Iridium plugs, but I will check again next month. The Z is being shipped back to the US already.

Also FWIW, I set timing using a wire between the sparkplug and coilpack. It read consistent with the reading I took with a cheap Arcon timing light on the #1 coilpack wire upstream from the connector. The PTU reading was advanced significantly, IIRC 10 degrees or so.

"What a curiosity our new political correctness has made of our public spaces. Let your sex tape loose on the Internet and
be rewarded with your own TV show; photograph a crucifix in a jar of urine and our museums will vie to exhibit it; occupy someone else’s
property and you will be hailed by the president for your keen social conscience. But call people who blow up, behead, and mutilate, “savage” —
and polite society will find you offensive."
